What is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM)?

Customer relationship management (CRM) is all about managing the relationships you have with your customers—including potential customers. CRM combines business processes, people, and technology to achieve this single goal: getting and keeping satisfied customers. It's an overall strategy to help you learn more about your customers and their behavior so you can develop stronger, lasting relationships that will benefit both you and your customers.   3. Run an online discussion forum. People love to chat with other customers and share their knowledge and opinions. You can empower your customers to do the same, and as part of the process, ask them to give their email address to use as a username.
  4. Sell something! When people buy from your online shop, ask them for an email address to send the receipt/confirmation to.
