Cetrus.com
Cetrus.com approached Happy Pixel Studio with a complex task - reskin their existing website starting with the homepage so that the content targets two different audiences. Cetrus provides on demand software solutions to users and service managers but also wants to attract developers of on-demand software. This was no out-of-the-box solution! By thoroughly understanding Cetrus' goals, HPS started by creating a wireframe of the homepage. From there the design of the site took shape.

Nearbuy Systems
Nearbuy Systems is a start-up based out of Menlo Park, California. They are trying to solve the question "Where is it?" using wireless technology to benefit consumers in the retail environment as well as businesses reliant on warehousing.
HPS worked with Nearbuy's hi-tech marketing strategist Linda Sonne of Giant Stride Marketing to accurately represent the goals of Nearbuy. The site is based on HPS's customer relationship management (CRM) solution which allows Nearbuy to collect e-newsletter subscriptions, track requests for whitepapers, accept requests for demonstrations as well as build a database of potential customers. A blog and Twitter tweets allow what could be a static site be dynamic.

Connection Chemical
Frank and Carl have been building connections for years. So when they got together to start a company called Connection Chemical their business took off – most often by tanker ship or train! Connection Chemical connects buyers and sellers of various chemicals for various industries.
Typical of most clients, they come to us with a logo and want a website. HPS worked with Connection Chemical to come up with a website design that expressed what Connection Chemical was all about – making connections and being global. The logo was updated for the website and now they have even more ways to make connections – through blogging, e-newsletter tools and contact forms.

Moraga Country Club Home Tour
The Moraga Country Club Home Tour is a yearly event hosted by The Olsen Team. All proceeds benefit breast cancer research. In 2010, they donated over $7500 (an increase of $1500 over 2009) to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.
HPS designed the logo as well as implemented the website. The site allows for guests to purchase tickets online via Paypal as well as view sponsors and the homes open during the tour. The donation increased $1500 from the previous year partly due to the fact that online payment was available for ticket purchases, sponsorships and direct donations 24/7. With sponsor links on the site, the sponsors have an online ad for the entire year in addition to the booklet provided to tour guests.
As for marketing, the event organizers have a spreadsheet of those who have purchased or donated that will allow them to market the same event next year. They have additional marketing leverage to sponsors as well with the online advertising.
Next year, the event can be promoted earlier than past years as only slight modifications to the site will need to be done. The goal? Again increase the amount donated to find a cure.

Tipping Sprung Translation is an agency that provides transcreation and translation services of collateral and technical documents from English into the many languages of the world.

Grove Kinczel architects contacted HPS with an off-the-shelf design they had purchased online but was then not able to customize and implement. HPS took the site beyond their original intentions to make it search engine friendly and dynamic.

Contra Costa Humane Society
The Contra Costa Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization serving Contra Costa County animals and those who care for them.
The Contra Costa Humane Society engaged in a rebranding effort in the spring of 2010. Based on a referral from a colleague, CCHS contacted HPS to propose an online solution for this non-profit organization. Their current website did not provide a desirable experience for their donators, CCHS did not have organization specific email addresses, and it desperately needed a new design. HPS met those goals and also implemented a complete Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution for lead capture. The site looks great and the functionality is what visitors expect. CCHS is still taking advantage of all the capabilities the system has to offer.

Lamorinda Moms (2008-2011)
Lamorinda Moms is a social and support group for moms with children age five and younger within the greater Lamorinda, California area.
Based on feedback from the LM steering committee, a volunteer designer re-branded Lamorinda Moms - it hadn't been rebranded since it's launch in 1998! The new logo was bright and colorful but did not fit with their existing website design (which was also designed and implemented by HPS.)
